- Never share PINs, passwords, or passcodes over phone or chat
- Research websites and sellers through customer reviews
- Inspect expensive items in person or via video call with proper documentation
- Type website URLs directly instead of clicking unsolicited links
Red flags to watch for
- Urgent demands for personal or financial details
- Unexpected messages with links or attachments
- Requests to verify account information or share security codes
Bloxley will never:
- Request payments from you
- Call you without scheduling and confirming in advance
- Ask for verification codes or security details over the phone
Handling suspicious communications
- Use our in-app chat to verify if any communication is legitimate
- Check email addresses for typos or suspicious formats (official emails come from @bloxley.com, not variations like bloxley@gmail.com)
- Never share personal or account information if you're unsure about the source
If you've been scammed, act fast:
- Stop all contact with the scammer immediately
- Freeze your card: Go to 'Cards' tab → select your card → tap 'Freeze' (or 'Terminate card' in Settings for permanent closure)
- Contact our support team through in-app chat
- Report the fraud through the app (Profile → Help Center → Dispute a transaction)
- Consider filing a police report
