Sometimes when you send money through bloxley, the recipient ends up receiving less than the amount you sent. Here's why that happens and what you should know.
bloxley fees
Domestic bank transfers: Fees depend on your membership and transfer type:
- Wire transfers: $8 (Basic), $6.50 (Plus), $5.50 (Premium)
- ACH transfers: Varies by membership level
International transfers: We charge a fee for sending bank transfers outside the US. You'll see our fees in the app before confirming any transfer.
Membership discounts on international fees:
- Plus: 4% discount
- Premium: 10% discount

Fees charged by other banks
Intermediary bank fees: When your money is in transit, intermediary banks may charge fees of around $15-$50. bloxley has no visibility or control over these charges.
Recipient bank fees:
- The recipient's bank might charge fees for incoming transfers
- For international (SWIFT) transfers, receiving banks commonly apply handling fees
- Currency conversion fees may apply if the transfer currency isn't supported by the recipient's bank
Avoiding unnecessary fees: To minimize fees, we recommend using local bank details and transferring to supported countries and currencies.
