The option to cancel a transfer depends on multiple factors like payment type, destination country, and timing. Not all transfers can be cancelled once initiated.
How to check if the transfer is cancellable
- Open the bloxley app and log in to your account
- On the home screen, tap your profile icon to open your profile
- Scroll down and tap 'Help center'
- Under Fast support, tap 'Cancel a transfer'
- Tap 'Show all transfers'
- Select the transfer you want to cancel
- Tap 'Report a problem'
- Follow the prompts
I entered the wrong transfer details
For local transfers: if you've missed or entered the wrong name, the transfer will likely still reach the recipient.
Errors in recipient details may result in the transfer bouncing back to your account within 5 working days for local transfers, or up to 20 working days for SWIFT transfers.
We have no visibility on the transfer's progress until it reaches our system, at which point you will see it in your transactions list. The timing of transfer reversals is determined by the sending bank, and we can't track or influence the status of such reversals.
Recipient's bank can't refund my transfer
We recommend requesting a refund from the recipient directly. If that's not possible, you may be able to request a recall in the bloxley app (for eligible transfers).
If your transfer is eligible for a recall try the following:
- Open the bloxley app and log in to your account
- On the home screen, tap your profile icon to open your profile
- Scroll down and tap 'Help center'
- Under Fast support, tap 'Cancel a transfer'
- Tap 'Show all transfers'
- Select the transfer you want to cancel
- Tap 'Dispute a transaction'
- Follow the prompts and try to attempt a recall
Once submitted, our team will review your cancellation request. If we need more information, we'll reach out via email. If not, you'll see the updated status in the transaction details once it's cancelled.
As part of the recall process, we will contact the recipient bank to request the reversal of the funds. We can't guarantee a successful recall or how long it will take. This is out of our control as the money is with the recipient bank.
Transfer from your external bank to another bloxley member
Since the transfer has been sent from your external bank account to another person's bloxley account, we can't check their account and help you with the reversal.
Reach out to the sending bank and request the transfer to be recalled from their end to recover the funds.
We don't have the option to take action from our end, but if the sending bank reviews this case and reaches out to us regarding the case, our team will be able to assist them.
