If someone tried to send money to your Bloxley account and the transfer was reversed, here are the most common reasons:
Issues on your side:
- Incomplete identity verification or missing documentation
- Outdated tax information that needs updating
- Wrong account details shared with the sender
- Unsupported currency or country (check our supported countries list)
Issues on sender's side:
- Incorrect bank details entered (wrong account number, beneficiary details)
- Transfer exceeds sender's bank limits
- Sender's bank flags the transaction for security review
- Payment method not supported by our banking partners
What to do if your transfer was reverted
- Check your email for any requests for additional documentation
- In the bloxley app, tap the reverted transaction and select 'Get help'
- Contact in-app chat if you need to update tax records or have questions
- If the refund is delayed beyond normal timeframes, message "Support chat" for a return confirmation
When will the sender get their money back?
- Domestic transfers: 3–5 business days
- International transfers: 15–20 business days
Important notes:
- We cannot reassign reverted transfers or speed up the return process
- Return timing is controlled by the originating bank, not bloxley
- The sender will receive their money back, not you
Need more help? If you're unsure why a specific transfer was returned, we recommend contacting the sender for more details. Also, our Customer support team is here 24/7 via in-app chat.
