Bloxley transfers between users are instant and we cannot reverse them. The only way to recover the funds is if the person agrees to send them back to you.
If you accidentally sent money to the wrong Bloxley member, there are steps you can take to try and recover the funds. Here’s what you can do:
Step 1: Ask the recipient to send it back
The quickest way to resolve this is to request the money back directly in the app.
- open the bloxley app and log in
- go to the "Accounts" tab on the home screen
- tap "Receive"
- select "Instant request"
- search for the person by name, phone number, or bloxID
- enter the exact amount you originally sent
- add a note politely explaining the transfer was a mistake and you're requesting the funds back
Step 2: Contact support
If you haven't received a response or the money hasn't been returned, contact our support team via the in-app chat. We'll do our best to reach the recipient and request that they return the funds.
We cannot move money from another member's account without their consent, so a refund cannot be guaranteed.
How to avoid this in future
- always double-check the bloxID, phone number, or name before confirming
- for large amounts, consider sending a small test amount first to confirm the recipient
- use the notes field to add context and avoid confusion
