If you're having trouble sending money to a bloxley friend, here are the common issues and how to fix them:
Account verification issues
If you're unable to send or receive transfers from other bloxley members, check your account to make sure you are verified and your account is not restricted. Ask the recipient to do the same, as the problem may be coming from their side.
Discoverability is disabled
It could be that either you or the other bloxley member have the discovery feature disabled.
To check your discoverability settings:
- Tap your profile icon on the home screen
- Scroll down to 'Security & Data Privacy'
- Check if "Get discovered by phone" and "Get discovered by bloxID" are enabled
Other common reasons
Incorrect bloxID, phone number, or name
Double-check that you've selected the correct user. Try searching again with a different identifier.
Insufficient funds
Make sure your bloxley account has sufficient funds to cover the transfer. You can check your balance on the 'Accounts' tab. If you need to add money, top up your account first.
No internet connection
Transfers require an internet connection. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data or restarting your connection.
The recipient doesn't have a bloxley account
You can only send money to users with active bloxley accounts. Ask your recipient to check if their account is set up and verified.
Compliance requirements
bloxley must complete necessary security checks by law to validate all transfers. If your transfer doesn't meet these requirements, it will be declined.
