If you receive a call, email, text message, or link that seems suspicious or claims to be from bloxley but doesn't feel right, it's important to report it promptly to protect your information and help us maintain account security.
What to watch for?
Be cautious if you encounter:
- Urgent requests for personal or financial information.
- Unexpected messages containing links or attachments.
- Calls or messages asking you to verify account details or provide security codes.
Bloxley will never:
- request payments from you
- contact you via phone without prior scheduling and confirmation
- ask you to provide verification codes or security information during phone conversations.
How to handle suspicious communications
- Contact our support team through the app chat to verify if the communication is genuine
- When reviewing emails, examine the sender's address for spelling errors or unusual formats. Official communications come from verified domains (like @bloxley.com, not bloxley@gmail.com)
- When in doubt about authenticity, avoid sharing any personal or account information
If you've been targeted by fraud, protect your account immediately:
- End all interaction with the suspected fraudster
- Lock your card using the bloxley app by selecting the ‘Cards’ tab on the home screen, then Tap the ‘Freeze’ card settings to block new transactions. Alternatively, you can terminate it by going to 'Settings' and tapping 'Terminate card'.
- Contact our support team via app chat for help
- File a fraud report through the app
- Consider filing a police report when applicable
How to report fraud in the app:
- Open the bloxley app and log in to your account
- On the home screen, tap your profile icon to open the settings
- Scroll down and tap ‘Support chat’
- Start a conversation and share the details of the suspicious communication
Stay vigilant
If you’ve received a suspicious communication:
- Do not engage with the message or caller. Avoid clicking any links or sharing personal information.
- Take note of the method (call, email, text), content, and sender details.
Regularly monitor your account for any unauthorized activity. If you notice any unfamiliar transactions, report them immediately through the app.
