bloxley uses the SHA (shared charges) model for international SWIFT transfers. This means you and the recipient each cover your own bank's fees. Any intermediary banks involved in routing the transfer may deduct their own charges along the way, which means the recipient could receive less than the amount sent.
It's not currently possible to pay intermediary bank fees upfront or predict their exact amount. These fees vary depending on the destination country, the banks involved, and the transfer route.
Coming soon
We're working on a fee coverage option that will allow you to pay intermediary fees upfront, helping ensure your recipient receives the full amount intended.
