Refunds & processing times
Standard refund processing
Refunds may take up to 5 days to be processed and credited to your account from the moment the merchant initiates it. The funds will appear in your bloxley app once the merchant completes the transaction on their side.
Once we're notified, the refund will appear in your upcoming payments in your bloxley app. You can view it at the top of your transactions list.
If you're waiting for a refund
- Wait for the funds to return to the sender. Processing times may vary depending on the issuer
- Contact the merchant or sender to confirm they've received the returned funds
- If you're unsure where the funds went, you can also reach out to our customer support team via in-app chat for assistance
Refund is declined or reverted
If your refund was declined or reverted, reach out to the merchant and request them to process the refund again.
Refunds on inactive cards or closed accounts
The refund will be processed as normal, even if you used an inactive card. If the merchant requests a card, let them know that the card is no longer active and provide an active bloxley card.
I received less than expected
If your refund amount is less than expected, contact the merchant directly and clarify it with them. If they aren't responding, you can raise a dispute in-app.
