Whether a transfer can be cancelled depends on the payment type, destination, and how far along it is in processing. Not all transfers can be cancelled once initiated.
How to check if your transfer is cancellable
- open the bloxley app and log in
- tap your profile icon on the home screen
- scroll down and tap "Help center"
- under Fast support, tap "Cancel a transfer"
- tap "Show all transfers"
- select the transfer you want to cancel
- tap "Report a problem"
- follow the steps
I entered the wrong transfer details
For local transfers, if you've entered the wrong recipient name, the transfer may still reach the recipient. Errors in other details may cause the transfer to be returned.
Local transfers are typically returned within 5 business days. SWIFT transfers may take up to 20 business days to be returned.
We have no visibility on a transfer's progress until it reaches our system. The timing of any reversal is determined by the sending bank and is outside our control.
Recipient's bank can't refund my transfer
We recommend requesting a refund from the recipient directly. If that's not possible, you may be able to request a recall for eligible transfers.
How to request a recall
- open the bloxley app and log in
- tap your profile icon on the home screen
- scroll down and tap "Help center"
- under Fast support, tap "Cancel a transfer"
- tap "Show all transfers"
- select the transfer
- tap "Dispute a transaction"
- follow the steps to attempt a recall
Once submitted, our team will review your request and reach out by email if more information is needed.
We'll contact the recipient's bank to request the reversal, but we cannot guarantee a successful recall or predict how long it will take. This is outside our control once the funds are with the recipient's bank.
Transfer from an external bank to another bloxley member
If you sent a transfer from an external bank to another bloxley member and need to reverse it, contact your sending bank directly and ask them to recall the transfer.
We're unable to take action from our end, but if your sending bank contacts us regarding the case, our team will assist them.
